Troy Lee Designs’ Kacy Martinez Secures AMA National Enduro Series Championship One Round Early
Corona, Calif. (September 19, 2016) – Troy Lee Designs rider Kacy Martinez claimed her fifth overall victory of the season on her way to clinching the Women’s A/B Championship of the AMA National Enduro Series over the weekend in Park Hill, Missouri. Her FMF KTM Factory Racing teammate Russell Bobbitt finished runner-up in the overall results, maintaining the points lead as the championship heads to its final round next month.
Martinez didn’t waste any time as she opened the day with a huge lead after the first test. She went onto win every section and cap off her fifth win of the season by a large margin of victory. The win helped her wrap up the Women’s A/B championship one round early.
“I’ve worked really hard all season and tried to remain consistent,” said Martinez. “It feels really good to get the championship wrapped up one round early and I owe it all to my team for their great support all season.”
