Moir had been riding very consistent of late and wanted to deliver a good run in his home country. After a slow start, Moir was able to pull out some speed at the end of his run to finish the day in the fourth spot. As the final run of the day, Brosnan handled the pressure in front of his home country fans like a true competitor. He rode two solid splits that placed him less than three seconds off the leader, giving Brosnan the fifth overall spot. Several other TLD riders competed with some having tough luck on the course. Dean Lucas finished just outside the top 10 in 12th. Luca Shaw was 26th, while Mark Wallace and Charlie Harrison were outside the top 50.
