"I have the other TLD knee pads and wanted to see how these ride. The fit is good a little long on the thighs though. The protection is great, but a little bulky . I know these are more DH , but wanted to give them a try for every day ride. I think I will stick with my speed and stage pads. I think these are perfect for bike park."

"I’ve always been a fan of D3O in pads but have struggled to find a pair of knee pads that stay in place. These Raid Knee Guards are locked in place. The band of silicon around the top edge takes a bit to get used to. Also the band of material that goes around the calf helps for a nice fit. Just be careful when removing to not grab the soft material around the calf as it can tear."

"The amazing thing about these knee pads is you can wear them while pedaling. Sleeve pads are to tight around the knee joint to peddle with, but these have a nice pocket that allows for knee movement. Pair that with some bomb proof protection and you have a winner."

"I was a little skeptical about these knee guards, due to the fact they only have 1 strap at the top. I’ve been having a problem with my old “Fox” guards sliding down after starting a ride. I took a leap and bought them thanks to “Susan” Troy Lee Laguna Beach. They have turned out to be great. I haven’t had any problems with them sliding down, and they cover further down to the shin area. They only have whole sizes like S,M,L. I do recommend buying them if you’re looking for protection from the knee down."

"First time I "used" them I crashed pretty hard during a race in a rock garden. While I got bumps and bruises elsewhere they save my knees from any hit and cuts. I would recommend these if you're going fast."

"Seem to be great quality and fit well. Not the most comfortable when legs are locked out, as I find it digs into my shins. But when pedaling it’s not a problem. I Haven’t crashed in them yet, So can’t comment on protective abilities. Overall first impressions and ride experience are good. 🙂"
