Arlington, Texas (February 11, 2017) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely not only continued the consistency he’s enjoyed since the start of the season, but turned out his season-best result with a runner-up finish inside AT&T Stadium. That consistency helped him move solely into third place in the point’s standings, just four points back from second.
Seely might not have started the day on top of the board in practice, but turned it up when he needed it and qualified straight through from his heat race. He got a great start in the main event, coming around the first lap in fourth. Seely rode steady and in control as he made passes and eventually made his way into second on Lap 8 of the 26-lap race.
“This is where I feel like I can be each week,” said Seely. “I know this is a long season and we’re only just finishing Round 6, but I’m really happy with how we’ve progressed so far. We’ll keep putting our heads down and chipping away at the points.”
