Lived up to the hype
"All ways wanted a TLD helmet from the times he was putting the fins on the MX helmets back in the day. The A3 is comfortable even with the MIPS system. Awsome venting for these hot days. Extends protection nice at the back of the head and the fidlock chin strap is wonderful. Lived up to the hype and stoked to have the experience. Still got my race fin also!"

I have always bought Kask
"I have always bought Kask helmets for road and MTB. I wanted to try something new and I try fox mtb helmet and it didn’t quick fit my round head. I was skeptical at first with Troy Lee Design helmets as helmets can be hit or miss. I decided to give the A3 a try. I was really surprised on the fitting. I have to say after 18+ years of cycling and mtb this helmet fit like it was made for me. It is comfortable, light, well ventilated, and well made. I am glad I purchased this helmet. In fact I order a second one. If you have a round head you will not go wrong!"

"I hadn't needed to a new helmet for a long time so I really researched comparable helmets and I kept coming back to this one - I wanted something light and safe with a decently low profile (not a huge mushroom)This feels like a very well built and is padding is very comfortable...right out of box in my case, just had to adjust the chinstrap! I like that it also comes with a bag and some extras. So far, so good!"

Great fit right out of
"Great fit right out of the box. Looks clean, no nonsense, and sadly just looks faster than me sitting there. I am replacing last years “other high end brand” helmet and decided on TLD as I use TLD Speed elbows for everyday trail riding and have not had a complaint on their protective equipment. While I am not wanting to test A3s protective capabilities, I am positive they will help ward off a seventh concussion."

- I were a large in all Mtb helmets Oakley and Fox so my concern is a m/l is somewhere in the middle which will cause uncomfortable fit, can you confirm either comparison to other helmets or diameter
